We stayed for 4 nights during a very cold January week. The innkeepers, Bill and Mary, were very friendly- as was all of the staff. The room was smaller than we are used to but was comfortable and clean. We chose a room with a fireplace, and it was wonderful on after a day of skiing. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, especially for skiing. Everyday there was a different homemade tea bread and muffin as well as a cooked entree. One note is to let the innkeepers know if you have any food sensitivities or restrictions. I wasn't aware that I should let them know beforehand. They were very accommodating. We made dinner reservations for the first night. The food and service were outstanding! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
Some other things to note: our pillows were thin (there were 3 in the room aside from the ones in pillow shams that I don't use at hotels), so next time I will request another pillow, I had a small pillow with me that helped. The water pressure was sometimes very low and sometimes we had to wait for hot water but it was manageable.
