This was a lovely property right on the heart of the Royal Mile. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The only problem was the washer/dryer in our room left our clothes smelling burnt, but that is the only downside-otherwise wonderful stay! Would definitely stay again

This hotel is chic, elegant, warm and cozy - the perfect place to come home to after a day of walking. And walk you will because the location, steps away from Edinburgh Castle on the Royal Mile, cannot be beat. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and having our own kitchenette allowed us to take our time in the mornings. Cannot recommend this gem enough.

A lovely property right on the Royal Mile. Excellent in every way. They forgot to clean our room one day and sent an apology note and wine. Comfy bed, very uncomfy sofa bed (maybe they would have given us a bed pad had they known we were using the sofa bed). Convenient location, lots of stairs and hills (throughout Edinburgh) so minimize luggage if possible. The best place we stayed on our UK trip. Well worth the cost. Tips: the stove top has a safety feature where it only heats up if it feels the weight of a pot on it. Robes were tricky to find in the room, but they were there.

We stayed in an apartment off the courtyard. It had a full kitchen and living area with 2 separate sleeping areas. The space was very luxurious and spacious. The staff was awesome and very accommodating! We loved the restaurant and bar, too. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Edinburgh. Great stay!

Wonderful. Location is excellent. Right off the Royal Mile accessible to all the scenic spots, shops, and restaurants. We had a very easy time, walking back-and-forth from Waverly train station with our roller bags. The staff was very professional and helpful in getting us settled in our room and offering helpful tips and recommendations. Highly recommend.
