Probably the best hotel I have ever been too and had a king size bed with a jacuzzi in the room and free breakfast and a heated pool. Me and my wife enjoyed are stay and she wants to come back every year.

We stayed only one night but were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and loved the flooring without carpet. Parking lot is well lit and plenty of spaces available.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Van Buren Hotel in Shipshewana. We enjoyed all the amenities. But one thing we both agreed on that did not go along with the comfort of our stay were the two chairs in the living room area. They were very uncomfortable to us. We didn't use that room to relax. Other than that, the rest of the facilities were great. The breakfast was delicious on both mornings. We would definitely recommend the Van Buren to friends and would stay there again when we come back.

Everything was so clean and immaculate. Staff was very kind and friendly. Reasonably priced. Loved the bathroom since it was designed for people with disabilities. I did not request this, but my back was bad the next morning (not because of the bed), and I had to shower sitting on the bench and use the grab bars and walk in / out shower. The breakfast was AMAZING - the best I had at any hotel - fresh, hot, and a mega-variety of options!!

This was a lovely hotel and it had a great breakfast. It is located close to shopping, but be aware that the town is pretty much 'closed up' after 6 PM!

I having back issues can be problematic when going to hotels. The bed was very comfortable and I woke up not in pain. Comfortable beds are the number one thing that makes my stay a 5 star hotel plus cleanliness. This hotel has both.

It was 1245 in the afternoon on arrival. The man (Manager?) was sitting in another room at a computer. When I asked if I could check in early he told me "no, that check-in doesn't start until 1pm. That's 15 minute difference. He never left his desk he just told me to come back in 30 minutes.
