Overprized room compared to similar ones. Room rate is twice the rate on for example at Chung King Mansions and other places. I chose this place because it is close to the Kowloon East Train Station at which I arrived very late with plenty of heavy luggage. The room description states a refrigerator, a desk and in-room safe deposite. I wanted to do some laptop working, so a desk would suggest some extra space. I also chose a double room, so I would have some extra space for all my bags. Via email I got all necessary PIN codes to let myself in to the room. I found a movable safe deposit underneath my bed along with some extra bed accessories and someone's old shoe box. There is no refrigerator or a desk. There is however a book shelf which extends on top of the foot end of the bed. Bed sits between two walls with no more than 180 cm. My length is 185 cm, so I had to sleep diagonally on the bed. Noice from other guests are heard very easy. The subway trains shake the building at every passage, 19 hours a day. The room has 2 power sockets in Hong Kong style, so adaptor is a must. I bought one, but later discovered a box full of them at front desk. None in the room though. Room size approximately 8 sqm including the cabin that combines shower, toilet and sink. Beware of dangerously high water temp when showering!
I never saw any staff on 4 days stay, but a cleaning lady once. No cleaning in 4 days.
The kind elevator man at ground floor really is my best memory from this stay.
