The place was very good and nothing negative to say about the staff, service or cleanliness. It was very quiet and peaceful around the bungalows and a good location with very easy access. What I found odd is that they do not serve alcohol. If you wanted a beer or cocktail with dinner or sitting by the pool, this wasn’t an option unless you brought it in from outside, which was okay at the pool but I am not sure about the restaurant. Also, the facilities are clean and grounds very well manicured, but throughout the grounds there are a few spots where they are doing basic construction and rather than simply shield the project mess, it’s left open and completely visible which I personally found a little odd … but by no means a deal breaker.

Overall very positive. Beautiful areas. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best localisation, close to everything. Unfortunately backyards with trash can be seen within the resort, not nice. Shower drainage had a strong bad smell nighttime.

Overall a pleasant stay. The facilities are definitely outdated, but functionable. There’s no soundproofing, so if you have noisy neighbors, you might have some adventures. We did have a very noisy very amorous neighbors. :-) I had made a reservation for seven people, and had paid additional for extra guest. However, even though the deadline for making cancellations had passed, the hotel agreed to drop the extra charge. I would go to this place again. The beach near the facility wasespecially nice, even if it was crowded. The water was very calm, shallow and sandy, soft bed underneath. It was ideal for children and people who are not super confident with their swimming.

Super sköna sängar. Vackraste frukost vyn.
Vi älskade detta boende. Vi blev så otroligt fint bemötta av en trainee tjej, Nita, och av Samaan som körde oss till rummet i sin lilla golfbil. 1:a intrycket är viktigt! Vi bodde i ett stort rum i den nyare delen, alltså ingen bungalow, sängen var magiskt skön! Städningen sköttes utmärkt. Det fanns en vattenkokare och en liten kyl. 2 vatten om dagen ingick. Frukosten hade stort utbud, frukost vyn var fantastisk! Om man ska säga något kritiskt så skulle frukost personalen kunna vara lite alertare. Ofta tog t.ex. kaffekopparna slut eller så var det kladd kring kaffemaskinen som det tog lång tid innan det torkades av. Men detta egentligen en petitess. Dagtid hängde vi antingen vid en pool (nr.2) eller längst längst bort under träden på Phra Nang beach. Dagtid är det plågsamt mycket folk i Railey särskilt i början av Phra Nang beach ( vid grottorna) men även inne i stan på restauranggatan. Men bra nog får inga båtar lägga till på Phra Nang längre, detta är ju en väldigt speciell och väldigt vacker Bech. Men, tyvärr, desto fler longtail båtar lägger till på stranden inne i Railey. Dagtid massor med folk. Morgon och kvällstid är det lugnt och stilla, därför var det så skönt att bo på hotell i själva Railey och inte komma dagtid som typ gäst från AoNang eller Krabi och bara trängas med folk för att sedan åka hem.

The staff, including the main manager, is very courteous and friendly, which is appreciated. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives stop. The room was significantly overpriced. The state of the property didn’t match the photos—the entire place is in dire need of a major renovation. ***If you’re looking to cool off in your room after a hot day at the beach, this isn’t the place for you! The A/C was barely functional. Even after requesting a room change, the issue persisted. Not being about to use the blankets to sleep at night so we would not be sweating was not nice. This hotel ruined and otherwise great vacation.***

The garden bungalows were peaceful and lovely. Excellent included buffet breakfast was a real treat. Note that Google will show the address as being in Railay West beach - however the hotel stretches between east to west beaches, with the reception right near the Railay east floating pier (check in there) and the restaurant on Railay west beach. A great location!

Doesn't miss! Great stay.
Great spot. Super quiet and tropical. Super friendly staff. Went out of way to look after us, easy to store bags, easy to buggy us to room and back when needed. Breakfast was pretty damn good too. Great location, use the hotel long tail boat from Ao Nam Mao Pier, makes life so much more comfy with the tractor they ferry you out to boat in and buggy on the other side. Great service to make travelling with two young kids a breeze.

Pleasant hotel. Breakfast could be significantly as improved including coffee machines that worked. Staff realising that brining out more spoons when there’s already plenty there and instead should bring out forks and knives of which there were none. Happened everyday of stay.

We were we really enjoyed our stay at Sand Sea resort. The staff were super friendly, especially the bellboy. The breakfast was surprisingly good and you could sit on the beach and eat your breakfast with a nice view of the quiet Railey beach resort is also not very far at all from the walking street and from the resort you can reach both beaches, the room was nice and clean. We only used one Paul as we only stayed one night, but the pool area was very nice and had a nice view of the beach. Check in and check out process was very easy. I recommend this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this resort. The grounds are lush and green with beautiful pools to relax around. Monkeys played in the trees above us. The resort spans the space between the east and the west side of the peninsula and the beach is gorgeous. The breakfast was great, the staff were absolutely delightful, rooms were spacious and clean. Everything is very walkable- restaurants, massages, tours, minimarts, souvenirs are all close by. Loved it!
