The hotel is so large that you need to call a buggy to get to the reception/pool/bar. The room was not well maintained. Tv broken, exposed wire hanging out of bathroom wall.

We only stayed one night as we landed at 6pm and were heading north the following day. We got to the hotel just prior to 8pm and told the pools closed at 8pm which was disappointing. The bars don’t open until 11am too so if you’re in holiday mode and want some morning drinks, you’ll have to find somewhere else or wait until almost lunchtime. The food at the restaurant was tasty and the breakfast buffet was generous. Hotel grounds are lovely with multiple pools to choose from and it really doesn’t feel like you’re next door to the airport. Staff were lovely. We got “upgraded” to a deluxe villa which was very spacious but a lot of empty space, could be good if you’re travelling with a family. Overall, this resort was great.

The nature of Patra Bali resort is not really for those looking to “experience Bali” but rather for those looking to “enjoy a delightful self-contained tropical resort” and not have to worry about any logistics or dining etc. From the latter standpoint, Patra is lovely with a gorgeous lagoon-like pool and offers absolutely everything you need in a self-contained setting next to a beach and astonishingly close to the Bali airport.

Entrance and lobby was very impressive and nice. Restaurant was very good. Pool are was loaded with trash. Some in pool also. Out side of the main building the property is in decline, needs major maintenance efforts and updating.
