Gorgeous views from the room and dining room. Could hear the waves lapping on the shore all night long with a cool breeze coming in off the harbor.
Front desk staff could care less about anything, it restaurant and bar staff were amazing.
Parking is very limited but we managed.

No parking for people in cars. About 15 cars were parked and three coaches. Staff did not tell us where else we could park We finally parked at the local co op food store.
There was no elevator and lots of stairs to climb. No one helped to carry luggage. I am 81 years old and fairly fit but even so no one even asked if I needed help
Overall the hotel was great but if you are driving the parking situation is not the greatest. There is space for 15 cars at the bottom of a ramp beside the hotel. There are no lifts here so if you are challenged with stairs and carrying luggage opt for a room on the 1st floor
We recently stayed during our visit to Isle of Skye. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Linens and bedding clean and comfortable. There are no elevators so prepared to carry your luggage. Other issue was the room would get very humid when taking a shower. Stronger ventilation is needed. ,We found a fan and opened the window. That helped
Ok hotel but very much a coach tours stop-off hotel. Room was fine, we had a view of the harbour. Bathroom had been refurbed so in good order - great shower. Lovely view at the back of the hotel but only accessible via the dining room. Close to a coop, petrol and market square, otherwise you need a car to get around. Good choices for breakfast - great coffee!
The hotel stay and rooms the first night were great, but the restaurant and bar closed too early so after a long day of exploring we could not enjoy a meal or drinks at the bar. Our second night we were moved to the next floor up due to booking and this included too many stairs. That was a disappointment.
Nice older hotel. It's a bit of a maze - stairs and passageways to navigate - but all nice. I wish our window opened farther to enjoy the fresh air because the room was pretty stuffy at times.
The room was musty and small. The breakfast hostess was rude. Don’t believe the picture of the hotel. It is not good. The fire alarm went off at 12:30 a.m. because of the steam from a guest’s shower. Ridiculous!
A terrible experience. We travelled around Scotland and this was by far our least favourite place. The room was small, the bathroom almost unusable and one of the staff was rude. Not worth it, especially given the price.
No hot water half way through shower. And I kept getting phone calls from reception asking me where the room key is after I retuned it at checkout the morning.
