Nice modern rooms combined with a traditional Japanese style. The bathroom was a good size with a separate area for sink and toilet and a wet room shower/bath. The location was good, just around the corner from Marutamachi underground station, linking to main Kyoto station via the Karasuma line. The hotel is also only a short walk to the Kyoto imperial palace park. Breakfast was nice, I had the western option which was a section of bread rolls, eggs, tea, smoothie and soup. The hotel also has a very pleasant lounge area for guests to sit and relax. Staff were very attentive and polite and rooms were kept very clean and well looked after. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing establishment! Very trendy, architectural and beautifully decorated. A great mood overall. We loved the guest lounge, the café and the tatami mats in the room. Everything felt brand new and premium, despite the affordable price. 10/10 would recommend.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff were kind, helpful, and so welcoming. The hotel itself is located in a great neighbourhood, we loved exploring. It about a 20 min walk to the shopping arcade, pontocho alley, and the market. The bus stop is about 2 min walk away and the same goes for the subway station. Overall a great hotel.

A lovely hotel with a cool aesthetic. Super helpful and friendly staff, convenient location, lots of amenities. We actually liked the set up of outside access to washrooms, meant some of us could sleep in peacefully while others got ready!

tres bel hotel , malheureusement le service restaurant n est pas souple, il y a deux possibilites de petit dejeuner (facture une vingtaine de dollars) et vous n avez pas le droit a un deuxieme cafe par example vous devez payer le petit dejeuner est purement japonnais j ai obtenu d echanger contre un croissant donc ca fait un peu cher le petit dejeuner (1 croissant et un cafe) meme pas le jus de fruit qui va avec les autres petits dejeuners, c est un peu leger quand meme sinon l hotel est agreable mais vraiment ils doivent ameliorer ce service restauration

The rooms is spacious & modern tradisional, we like the 24 hr lounge room it's so huge and cozy with free beverages like hot teas & mineral fused drink. The only downside is the WiFi is slow.

Excellent hotel in convenient locations
The hotel was fantastic! The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and cozy, the reception smelled and sounded like a spa. They had a guest lounge that was beautiful with tasty beverages. We tried the Japanese breakfast which was cool but not our cup of tea. The hotel is close to subway and major bus line, walking distance t hreat shopping, parks, shrines, and Nishiki market. Overall, our stay was exactly what we needed and more, we'll definitely come again next time we're in Kyoto!
