Awful customer service
I travel a lot for work and I stay at a lot of different hotels, and this was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had. The front desk employee Allie was very rude and unhelpful. I had lost my wallet on the field at work, I have all my documents digitally because I always carry my phone. I had booked my room through my phone and when I went to check in she refused to check me in because I didn’t have a physical ID. I asked if there was anything she could do she said no that’s the policy I asked for a way to contact the management and she gave me the hotel phone number then answered the phone. So I had to call hotels.com which was almost worse than dealing with the lady at the front desk. They had me verify my information and when they would pull my information our call got disconnected. This happened 4 times only to find out that the lady at the front desk cancelled my my room so no refund was available. Now I have to make a claim and place a stop charge at my bank. I went to the Howard Johnson was easily able to get verified the employees were very helpful and accommodating and was able to check into my room with no issues. La Quinta inn were extremely rude and made no effort to help me in a desperate time and cancelled my room making it more difficult for me to redeem the money I spend for the room. I won’t be staying at a place that treats their clientele that way.

Good enough for the price ...
Stayed here for 3 nights. Double beds are small for two adults and pillows are super soft, no firmness to them. Bring your own! Bathroom had a fan that didn't work (made loud sound when turned on) and the vent cover fell off during our stay. Bathtub had a SUPER leaky faucet that sounded like someone was peeing all day/night and the leaking hot water caused the bathroom to constantly feel like a sauna. The free breakfast was 'ok' but one of the waffle makers broke the first day we were there so this caused a longer wait time. No proteins were available, only hard-boiled eggs. Hostess was a little moody, but maybe we all are in the morning.

Great stay overall
This was our third stay at this location. We traveled with a pet and had a very smooth stay. Breakfast seemed to be expanded from our last visit. My only minor negative note would be the cleanliness of the tub and shower. Beds were very comfortable. We will stay again in the future. Staff was very friendly and accommodating

Very nice hotel but would say hall carpets need to be replaced. Breakfast area was small for such a large crowd.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Toilet flush is very poor, got clogged but staff responded quickly. Carpets in hallways and near elevators are old and not very neat and clean looking. Just want to mention also, that J am almost sure there were some very tiny black bugs in the bed (not bed bugs), I got bitten once in the night.

Nice and comfortable
Front desk was very accommodating and friendly. The room we had was comfortable and clean, bathroom fixtures just need a little updating. Overall it was a nice stay along with our small family dog.
