My boyfriend and I stayed at this resort for the labor day weekend. Check-in was a breeze and the office staff were quite friendly. There was ample parking within the resort. The room was clean but from reading the past guest reviews, I made sure to bring slippers because the floors were indeed grimy / sticky (!) and could definitely use a good scrubbing. The bathroom definitely needs some renovation or updates. The bathroom exhaust in the room we stayed at was LOUD and there was no way to turn it off unless the bathroom light was off as well. Couldn’t figure out the AC as well but it was comfortable enough in the room. The bed was ok with clean sheets and pillows. Room service was not done during our short stay so can’t say how often they do this if you stayed longer. The food they served by the pool was pretty good and affordable. All in all, it was a pretty decent stay due to the location a as it was not loud or crowded like the downtown area, the resort was clean and they had their own private beach which we didn’t use anyway. The lake was nice so definitely get a room with a view.

Front desk was very friendly. Rooms were a good size but the floors in the rooms were so nasty. Sticky and so dirty. No way they have been swept and mopped recently. When you walked you could hear the shoes stick and unstick. The bathroom floor was even worse. I was so skeeved out. The beds were clean thank God and the little nightstands were clean. The hallways were filthy. Someone needs clean that entire building, its falling apart, at least my building was. Its a shame because the location is fantastic, right on the lake. The courtyards were beautiful with tables and chairs everywhere, a small play ground. The pool was heated which was great, a little pool bar was nice. Unfortunately i would not stay here again because we were skeeved. But maybe not everyone cares about that if they just plan on sleeping there. I would say maybe my room was just missed and not cleaned properly but i went with 4 other families and they had the same complaint about their floors.

The parking was great. Nice close spot to our room. The gentle man at the front desk was very nice, and helpful. But the room was not at all what was pictured (or maybe it was but pictures sometimes do lie) The hardwood looking floors were filthy, My sons white socks were black after just no exaggeration 1 min from walking across the floor. The bathtub was very old, there were hairs all over the bathroom walls, in the bed, in the towels. I get it hair sticks when drying things in a dryer but this is not acceptable, cobbwebs in the corner of the ceiling, mildew stains on the ceiling, the smoke detector was not hooked up, I went ahead and bought Lysol spray and wipes and cleaned the entire room, along with hooking up the smoke alarm. The outside light was covered in cobbwebs. My husband was so mad at me for booking this place and not reading up more on it. I just trusted the good reviews and the pictures looks very good. But I guess not.

Property/rooms do not look like the pictures. Very run down. Pool bar not open during the week. Pool missing a lot of tiles, just not well kept . Floor in room very dirty and full of sand . Fence by the lake falling apart. Beach area was nice but in the water was a lot of sharp rocks. The location of the property is very nice. The staff was nice and friendly. Would have liked to have some fire pits to sit by at night but there were nun. I don’t think this will be my first pick to stay here again.

We arrived 1/2 hour early and they let us check in early...so nice! It was quiet in the room, the balcony was nice and we had a good view of the lake. Room was clean.
