Blackjack Inn: Always a win!
The Blackjack Inn is my number one choice whenever I stay in South Lake Tahoe. Check-in is quick and the front desk representative is friendly and informative... Parking is good. The spaces are a bit narrow but I've always found good parking... The rooms are both affordable and comfortable- just the right size for my needs.... Conveniently located near the Van Sickle Trail and about a 20 minute walk to Lam Watah Nature trail... I'm a bit sad when I have to check-out but look forward to my next visit to SLT and the Blackjack Inn. :)

Great location! You can walk to casinos. A bit tight on parking but parking is free. Room was nice and bathroom updated. I would stay there again.

Inexpensive and good place to stay.
The hotel is a small place off the main road, which means it's ideally located to park your car and walk around. Very comfortable and quiet, and as a solos female traveler I felt comfortable here. My only complaint was the folks in the next room turning on their shower at 5am and waking me out of a solid sleep. Not a hotel problem, but it's worth noting that you will hear ALL the water usage of other people.

Check in is fast and easy, staff is friendly. Parking is a little tight for large vehicles. Great location, close to restaurants, Starbucks, and the lake. Premium King bed a little small and no in room coffee machine. Coffee available in lobby in the am.

I had a wonderful experience during my two-night stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, close to everything I wanted to explore. My room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were super smooth, taking just a minute each. The only minor inconveniences were the microwave clock, which stayed on all the time and emitted a bit of distracting blue light, and it would have been nice to have a cup in the room for getting warm water. Despite these small issues, I would definitely book here again! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and clean stay.

This hotel is in a good area in relation to the main shops and Stateline. The door for the restroom was a little awkward, farm style door, and didn't close all the way. But my wife and I managed. The only thing that was strange was the parking lot. There is only 1 way in, and to exit, you have to make a 3 point turn at the end of the lot. It was weird.
