Quick trip
Nice hotel, has been remodeled and seemed to be up with the times. Not over packed. The elevator was not working but stairs were close and if need a second elevator was only a short distance away. Beautiful along the river!

Rooms where outdated. Shower did not have any water pressure. Did have trouble with the air conditioner the first night, a tech got it working but the air in the room could not regulate no help from the front desk on this issue. Every couple of hours I had to turn off the air cause it got to cold and then turn it back on cause it got to hot. I did not get much sleep due to this issue. Service from Valla, Maid, Restraint, Bar and Pit staff was wonderful. I will not stay there again but I would play and have a good time there.

The room refrigerator was bigger than most places we stayed at so we could fit leftovers, soda cans, water, etc The room decor was dressy yet casual and the bed was super comfy!!Loved the sliding glass doors to the patio which had chairs and a table plus well landscaoed!! U could walk around like a backyard.The room had more furniture than normal so plenty of places to sit and put things on. Lots of drawers with furniture and both sides of the beds had an end tables.. Great places to eat and Claim Jumper was the best. The casino was non- smoky and very clean!! We felt safe and comfortable and the price was much better than Vegas!!! We will be back!! NiceLoved thein it.

Need of some TLC
It was obvious at check-in that they did not read the request of a handicap room. I know they are not available most of the time, but they did not even read the request. They also failed to bring a shower chair to one of the rooms that was desperately needed, and the heat and all three of the rooms were not working correctly and maintenance agreed that the hotel was rundown and needed to replace the outdated heating/cooling system. It’s a shame because it used to be nice place but it needs a lot of work.

We only stayed one night but the property was clean, and the staff was very helpful. My mother is disabled, and they were willing to accommodate her needs as much as they could. Will stay there again

The room was very worn, peeling wallpaper, stained carpet, grout coming out of tiles in bathroom, rusted bathroom sink. Could hear neighbors on both sides and upstairs all night long. Didn't get much sleep. Elevators were very distressed. We expected better from the Golden Nugget.

We stayed here because they allow pets, and we always travel with our dog, and this hotel was very accommodating, and clean! We stayed 4 nights, and got in late, so we got a room on the 4th floor. The receptionist said i could ask in the morning for a ground floor room, with a patio right off the back door. I was able to get a nice room, and we went straight to the new room with no waiting!!! Will stay here every time I go to this area, nice place.
