In search of PEOPLE-FRIENDLY lodging!
The hotel and staff are nice, and the location is great (convenient for the event I was attending). However, I was assured that dogs were typically placed on the first floor at check in because it is "Pet-friendly." At bedtime, there was a dog barking in the 3rd floor room next to me. When I called the front desk, they said they would "check it out," but that didn't stop the dog from barking then and the next morning as well. Please find a way to look out for the comfort of your human guests!

I feel like they invested way more into the common areas than the rooms themselves. We checked into a double queen bedroom and found that it wasn’t spacious at ALL. Hardly any room to walk about. No coffee pot, no microwave, desk was micro mini, not enough room to place suitcase anywhere other than on the bed when getting out clothes and toiletries. It was just not at all what the pictures depicted and the value wasn’t there for almost $300 per night!!! Very disappointing. I don’t plan on staying here again.

Hotel was average with small rooms. Needed to extend our stay by a couple nights and was informed by the front desk staff that we had to pay the pet fee again even though we were not switching rooms or adding any additional pets. They offered no reason for the double charge other than “it’s just our policy” and they refused to waive this fee. We were already unhappy that the pet fee charged was higher than stated in their fees online. We moved our reservation over to the ALoft next door where we had a larger room and our dog received a bed, toy and a bag of treats from the front desk staff with NO pet fee.
