Perfect hotel stay! It’s two streets away from the main Leipzig Old City region, very walkable, and is located across a shopping mall. The hotel staff was very kind, always aided to our needs, and the breakfast buffet was some of the best I have seen in Europe! I’d highly recommend this hotel.
Good breakfast, very good position, near the HBF, the only thing is that the water shield of the bathtub is not big enough, after taking the shower, there is water on the floor
The Marriott in Leipzig is perfectly located in the centre of the city, all staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and the lounge wonderful. The fitness room is very convenient and has various important machines, swimmingpool and whirlpool are very clean and a joy.
The hotel is clean and well appointed; staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and appropriately priced for the quality on offer. The hotel is very handily placed for the city centre and train station.
On the minus side, customer service could in places be improved. We were made on one occasion to feel like a bit of a nuisance for booking a restaurant table which we had been told was free on Christmas Eve; the swimming pool is unavailable during much of the daytime when a guest might wish to use it, opening only around the times when one generally wishes to eat.
We traveled with two small children and the staff made them feel important. Fredreich at the front desk spent time with them when we checked in and also later in the evening. Also we were allowed to check out late so the kids could swim after breakfast.
