Overall, we enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. Breakfast each morning was great. We needed to add a roll away bed after the reservation was initially made and they changed our room to accommodate that request with no issue. I did ask for someone to lubricate the hinges on our bathroom door due to the squeak, but it wasn't done, so I did take care of it myself.

Overall it was a good stay. The check in was quick, although the digital key didn’t work. The hotel was clean, fresh smelling, and I didn’t feel like I needed a shower after entering my room. The inside of the hotel could use some updates and the landscaping needs some touching up. The parking lot could use a repaving also. For the price, it was a good value for a visiting business trip.

Front desk staff were helpful and attentive. After returning to the room at night, we noticed ants all over the floor. We were immediately moved to another room. This room had a handicapped accessible shower which looked very outdated and unclean. We noticed hair on the floor of the shower and the grout lines were very discolored. Because we had just moved rooms and were leaving early in the morning, we decided to just not use the shower. Had we been staying longer or needed the shower, I would have asked for another room. Very disappointing.

Bloomington has a lot of hotels. I wouldn’t recommend this one!! There are many hotels with updated, clean rooms at an affordable price. Beds were uncomfortable, bedding didn’t fit the mattresses, carpets were badly stained, and there was hair in the bathroom. Hampton Inn really disappointed at this location. Meredith at the front desk was nice, though. I will give them that!
