The only thing that we didn’t like was the property didn’t have a safe for valuables. Carpet in room was stained in spots and the shower was a little slippery for elders. Otherwise the property was beautiful. Lobby was great and the food was excellent.

The only issue was the air conditioner or humidity control was odd. Everyting always felt damp and we come from a very humid location (Houston, TX). Staff was excellent, welcoming and kind. They surprised us with a bottle of champagne and dessert in our room when they learned we were celebrating our anniversary.

Nice beach and state park beach adjacent to property. Had Ocean View room with spectacular Sunrise view. Pool steps away from our room. Restaurant step away from room. Parking fee 25 per day a bit steep for having to park so far in overflow lot most nights if you went out at night.

The property is very beautiful, open, & serene. There are a lot of activities that happen at this property, as well as a concierge desk that links you to other outside activities. We enjoyed our stay here.

Location and beach access to park was a plus. I was there for work so it was disappointed to find out after checking in that my room didn’t have cell service or strong wifi for me to get work done. (zoom meetings etc). The gym had a peloton but the wifi was too weak to connect to use unfortunately. The room was clean but had a very strong fragrance that took getting used to.

It was good to be in walking distance from Lydgate. The hotel was ok, none of the water dispenser machine didn't work for a couple days while we were there, the ice machines on our floor were not working. They charged $25 per day for towels and 2 bottles of water. The cleaning lady kept forgetting to leave us water. $25 for self parking seemed ridiculous, but they said they charge that amount because other hotels charge even more (cars had to park on weird spots because they don't have enough parking).

Hot tub did not work the whole stay. Our refrigerator froze everything. Our ocean view was nice but the windows needed cleaning on the outside. Wish they had balconies that would have been better. The staff was extremely friendly. The guy who gives towels definitely needs a raise he was exceptional!!!! Took our bags to our room too!!! Very nice and friendly!!!!
