Beautiful location that is right on the beach. Multiple options for food throughout the day in the resort plus there is Uber eats on Kauai. The pools had waterfalls, a water slide and a couple hot tubs. Rooms weren’t as clean as I would have like mainly the bathroom but my towels were refreshed everyday, my bed made, the trash was taken out and the floors were cleaned.

The resort was nice and central to a lot of the activities we did. One thing that I did not like was that we didn’t get a warm welcome when checking in. Don’t recall the staff at the desk greeting us when we walked by either. Our sliding door did not lock and we had a couple insects in our room. Not sure why parking isn’t included in the price. Parking security gates were always open for anyone to enter. Please change out the old pillows!

Overall the best part was how quiet it is. Everything is nice and spread out. Rooms could use a bit of updating. But decent. The frustration i had is playing $30.00 a day to park (non-valet) on top of he resort fee. Just felt like an unnecessary money grab.

Our stay at the Outrigger in Kauai was absolutely incredible. We came for our honeymoon and we were greeted warmly by staff, surprised with a beautiful swan display on our bed with handwritten notes congratulating us on our honeymoon and the ever famous Hawaiian Host chocolate covered macadamia candies. Our room had the most amazing view of the pool and ocean where we saw gorgeous sunrises every morning. It was conveniently located right down the road from the airport and was center to the north and south shores for exploring. The food in both the Naupaka Terrace and Shutters bar were some of the best meals we ate. The staff were so friendly - they made us feel like family. We loved this resort and plan to stay again whenever we come back. Highly recommend - you won’t be disappointed.

Not worth the price tag
Room is small, outdated, stained carpet. No fan in the bathroom for after shower/toilet. Door hydraulics off - very difficult to open/close. TV went out 3 times during stay - had to call front desk to fix. In-room coffee pods bad taste and no tea. Daily parking fee of $29 (hidden on hotels.com site way at the bottom). Staff amiable, but in a stepford/fake manner. Very disappointed for the price we paid - don't recommend this resort.

Likes: The room was always cleaned when we got back. The pools were AMAZING!!! Happyhour menu and prices were great. Loved the toads, chickens and fish on property. Live music each night was outstanding. Dislikes: Our shower wouldn't turn off. Charging ports on phone didn't work. Not enough bedside outlets. No microwave in room. The one in the restaurant was also broken. (Staff used staffroom microwave for us) Staff seemed to be aware of what guests wanted. Management didn't.
