They didn't have any record of my reservation through Expedia. No rooms, no apologies. The place looked horrible and overpriced. But the worst was the poor attitude of the staff.
Apparently this hotel accepts room reservations even after being full. Charged for the room despite not being able to stay there. Terrible experience. Drove out to this location to find that there was nowhere for us to stay. Seemed to be happening to multiple people.

Showed up to propert and turned us away for booking with Travelocity for one night. Declined reservation and sent us away. Didn’t stay. No explanation of refund. Disappointed in location and travel site.

The hotel had been and just reopened. The room needed to be wiped down from being closed. Location is not on beach and you had to cross a very busy street to get to the beach
No coffee maker nothing in room no cups.
Woke up to four cop cars. Car near ours was broken into.
Kids loitering around next to elevator with skateboards.
Didn't feel safe at all.
The location was across the street from the beach. The rooms were a nice size. The property was neglected but it has real potential for a caring owner. What a shame.
Everything would have been pretty good overall except for VERY loud children running back and fourth in the room above us, waking us up at 6-7 am every morning and continuing throughout most of the time we were there. It was as if we were inside of a bass drum almost non stop, no fun... We called and complained a couple times but there wasn't much they could do. The Floors were very dirty, very... My husband, children and i had black feet and had to lay towels down next to the bed to wipe our feet down before getting onto the beds. Tables were sticky and crummy, the sink drain kept coming apart and leaking all over the floor. Without these issues i think our vacation would have been a different story. I'm really not a picky person and hate to complain but i would never stay here again.
We booked an ocean view room on hotels.com, when we got to the room, it was NOT ocean view and had a do not disturb sign on it as if someone was staying in the room. Went back to the office. We were told we did not book a ocean view room and they had none available. Also told just to go into the room, there shouldn’t be anyone there. Got into the room, there was trash on the floor near the nightstand. We packed everything back to the car, got a refund and stayed somewhere else for the trip.
Room was located on top of a roof of a strip mall, they were doing construction on the balconies above us so, for 10 straight hours we listened to drills, jackhammers and construction noises (not great for a relaxing get a way) the room was dirty and upon inspecting more, there was dirt and stains every where. The shower head only works if you are 5’0 or shorter and the hot water isn’t hot. On our second night out electronic keys stopped working and when I went to the OFF SITE lobby, the man told me that they had “no guests” in my room number and I had to argue for 30 mins for him to give me new keys to the room that I paid for and my stuff was in.
It was a headache from start to finish. We won’t be returning.

The place definitely feels like a rundown hotel where they lazy-remodeled. It wasn’t like TERRIBLE but definitely not great. Would I stay there again? If better things aren’t available, yeah it’s fine. But definitely going to try to find something better first next time
I am 76 years old my issues were not feeling safe soon as you come in to check in the lady has her mask below her nose and Maids didn't even wear them. I installed the curtain for the bathroom tub the office did Supply new one. My wife ended up getting Windex from the maid so she could clean the window so we could see the ocean clear. The floor was not very clean. I would stay again giving them a second chance for the price it's a nice hotel

For the price it was nice and relaxing basic needs met....however i booked a room and paid the extra $5 per person to make sure i got that room. When i arrived to checkin the girl at the desk said she was going to "upgrade" my room because the system was going slow. My room was not an upgrade but infact a huge downgrade. I had reserved the room i wanted because of the bathroom that had a huge tub and seperate shower. So i was not happy about that at all.
The staff either had no mask in sight (the housekeeper) or wore mask low below the nose. There was no early check in. No coffee due to Covid, but staff doesn’t wear a mask? Someone had sharpied the bottom of my remote, which turned the bedsheet and my hand bright pink. There was no soap in my room and a half used shampoo. When I called the front desk they assured me there was no difference in the body bar or cleansing bars they have. That’s fine, but why do I see two different ones in my friends room? I asked for soap and they said I can come get it. So they short me on soap then I have to do the leg work? I will never stay here again.
