The hotel has very friendly staff. Both the desk manager and the rest of the staff were very nice. Other than that there isn't much good to say about this place. It has very bad smell to it, the breakfast was of very poor quality and the their description of the "heritage" room did not correspond with reality. I took two steps into the attic, wich they claim is a room and hit the wall. If yor taller than 5.6 you can barely stand upright.

The location is AMAZING!! It's truly within walking distance to everything, I mean everything. Although the location is fantastic, you'll have to give up comfort. The beds are terrible!!! The coffee machine in the room is challenging to use, and the shower towels are no larger than a hand towel. I stayed 3 nights; however, any longer than that, I would have had to check into a more comfortable place. The front desk team is super friendly and helpful

Staff were nice and helpful. We loved the location which was within walking distance of everything we needed. Safe neighborhood. Room was clean. Room was small, bathroom could use use exhaust fan, and bed was not very comfortable. That said, overall a positive experience on our trip to Lisbon for our honeymoon

This is a really nice reasonably priced hotel located in an area surrounded by shopping, sights, and dining. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The breakfast on offer is very nice and, at 10 euros, very competitive with the local establishments. The elevator is very small because, like many old European buildings, it is installed in the stairwell and surrounded by the original stairs. We had one of the Historic Rooms on the top floor; it was spacious and well furnished. The only downside is that there seems to be a problem regulating the water temperature in the shower. It would fluctuate between very hot and very cold. I'm not sure what the problem is, but the staff was aware of it. Our friend on the second floor did not have this issue. We enjoyed our stay, in any event.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lift Boutique Hotel and would recommend it. The room was a nice size and had more personality than a standard hotel room. Breakfast was lovely. It was quiet which was surprising because it is so conveniently located near a square.

The Lift staff were very helpful. They tended to our needs and were patient. The location was excellent. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, Metro, etc. Very clean.
