I stayed at this hotel during my first visit to Lisbon, and I re-booked it for my second trip to Lisbon! What I liked about this hotel:
- Cleanliness: The room was very clean. I picked a nonsmoking room and it was worth every penny.
- Walkable Area: The area around the hotel is safe and walkable, even at night. Since I'm a woman, this was important to me. I regularly stayed out late (e.g., until midnight) and NEVER got cat-called, stared at, or harassed by strangers in this area. I would pick this hotel again just for the safe location.
- Food Nearby: There is food nearby, which ended up being important because I was hungry after my flight. I didn't have a car, but I was able to walk on foot from the hotel to eat at Hygge (where they have a cheap lunch special with freshly-squeezed pineapple juice) and Milky (where they have unusually nice lattes and other types of coffee. I really liked the chocolate chip sea salt cookies.) Both were less than 5 minutes away on foot for me.
- Comfortable shower and mattress: I liked the rainfall-style shower! The mattress was comfortable, too.
Trained staff: Check-in was fast and the staff was friendly-- they literally rushed into traffic to help me with my heavy luggage (without wanting a tip. That was surprising!) I felt safe around the staff, too-- I never felt observed or rushed (even when I drank obscene amounts of the free lemon water.) (It was tasty.)
