We were given a choice of a room on the freeway or a quieter room which was on the second or third floor with no elevator. My husband and I both have bad knees and stairs are difficult for us so there was no choice but to choose the one with an elevator. Impossible to sleep with the traffic noise so we checked out and went elsewhere.

Very disappointed with our stay at this property. First off, we picked this property due to breakfast offered in the morning. When we went down in the morning to get it the front desk stated “it’s not open and I can’t tell you why”. Also starting at 5am it is so loud around the property. Many homeless around the property. Carpet inside room had many visible stains. Staff overall was just not very welcoming or nice.

The staff and room cleanliness were exceptional. We did have a problem with the heater, which led to a less than optimal nights sleep. However, the staff indicated that they could have brought in a temporary heater had we called, but we were simply too tired at that point. The only real challenge with the heater not working was that we could not turn on the fan to block out the freeway noise, but again we know the staff would’ve been willing to try to address this issue.

Hidden Gem!
I recently stayed at the Palm Garden Hotel for two nights and had a great experience. The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything I needed while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were well-maintained, and my room was clean and inviting. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring I got a good night's sleep both nights. The front desk staff really stood out; they were friendly, attentive, and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. For the price, I felt it offered fair value considering the quality and convenience. Overall, I’d definitely consider staying here again in the future.
