This is a decent, convenient, and safe place to stay -- especially with kids -- if you're wanting to explore Carpenteria or nearby areas and not pay Santa Barbara hotel prices! The breakfast was just fine.
Staff was nice and housekeeping did an excellent job.
My only complaint is that if you're staying on a busy weekend when the place is full, prepare to hear your room neighbors (especially if you have one of those shared doors/suites). For some reason, our neighbors decided to show up at 4 a.m. and proceeded to have a full-volume conversation for about 30 minutes near the shared door! They left the next morning, thank God!
So, maybe bring your earplugs if you're staying on a busy day.
