The layout was strange; there's no way to bring the luggage carts from the parking lot directly to a room, because of a short flight of stairs (both in front and back). So, if you have a carload, be prepared to haul things up and down the stairs. The room was quite narrow and tight - getting in the front door with a suitcase was a challenge.
The worst was the post-check-out experience. They put a $50 damage deposit on my credit card (OK, that's not unusual; I've seen that before). What was weird was when I checked out, the front desk clerk sent a maintenance guy to my room, to check on the condition, before she'd process my check-out. When he came back, he said everything was fine, so she told me that they'd credit back the deposit in the next day or so. Eight days later, the deposit is still on my credit card statement - I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get a refund. Something is sketchy about how these people do business.
