Welcome to your new favorite getaway in breathtaking Mammoth! Our home away from home will become yours too—only better. You will get the warmth and coziness of a home with the exclusive feel of the Monache resort—all without needing to leave the resort or even drive! Leave your car securely parked in the garage downstairs. There is truly something for everyone here all year around with plenty of options to satisfy everyone in your family… we promise!
Love the snow? We are steps away from the ski lifts and the gondola! Mammoth has one of the best ski areas we’ve ever been to with plenty of runs that can accommodate both the most experienced skiers/snowboarders and the newer ones. The main lodge also has one of the best offerings we’ve sampled in any resort we’ve gone to. We love The Green, which offers custom made smoothies and avocado toast! There is also a rental shop in the hotel for your convenience and lockers downstairs you can use.
If you love the snow but aren’t big on skiing or snowboarding, you can go on a scenic ride on the gondola that leaves across from the main lodge. It will take you up on two separate trips, stopping halfway up the mountain where you can take a picture with the famous post and walk up to see a memorial and then hop on the second one to the top. We like to stop for a drink in the café before heading back down. And best of all, if you are a scenic ride ticket holder, you get to go in a special line so you’re not stuck behind all the other skiers and boarders!
Not crazy about the snow? Monache has an awesome fitness center with a shower so you don’t even have to trek back to your unit to shower if you don’t want to. They also have a beautiful pool that is heated in the winter and a very roomy spa! They also serve drinks and food poolside courtesy of Whitebark restaurant, which is terrific. It has a great happy hour in the restaurant downstairs and a fun bar. The menu attracts foodies from all over, and it’s right at your fingertips! They also have a really fun activity packet for little kids that offers them enough activities to last your stay! There is also always complimentary hot chocolate (our daughter is obsessed) or tea in the lobby… sometimes even champagne!
In the summer, there is a gorgeous open air tram at the foot of the stairs you can take. We love renting bikes and then loading them up and taking the tram all the way to the top of the mountain and then riding down! There are also festivals in the village almost every weekend with free concerts that are very family friendly.

Please note- Guest room renovations from now through Mid-December 2021. There should be very little disturbance to guest during this time, but there will be significant work activity.

The Hook Up in Mammoth
This is the ideal place for couples and singles visiting Mammoth who want something a bit more upscale. The layout and design of the suite was all conducive to a relaxing, enjoyable experience. Everything was first class, including communication with the owner. I had a great week and felt that, for the money, it was a very good value. I'll be back!

We enjoyed staying at the Westin, and Ricky's condo was everything we needed. It has underground parking, complimentary overnight ski valet at the bottom of the gondola, a view of the village, and more. Ricky was very responsive to the questions we had upon check-in. The place is neat, and the beds are comfy. It worked out perfectly for us.We are looking forward to our next visit and will recommend it to friends and family.

Nurturing our souls
Great place centrally located in town. We spent most of our days hiking into remote locations. My husband is an avid fisherman and enjoyed the many options for fishing. If you do have a large van that won't fit into the garage, parking is a challenge. Luckily we found a local establishment that was kind of enough to allow us to use their parking lot. You can have the comforts of a resort and get away to feel like you're out of the hustle and bustle. We'll be back!

Welcoming owners! Nicest welcome info we’ve ever gotten. You could tell they wanted you to enjoy your stay. Lots of good info. Easy check in process, easy parking and garage access. Clean and cozy master bedroom. Pull out couch for needs but only one set of clean sheets provided for the pull out and we needed two. Only surprise was that none of the cozy warm blankets provided, incl duvet covers and had not been washed. Even extras provided in master. Pet hair all over them. ( excluding master bedroom) comforter on bed). Extra pillows were shoved on top of closet , not clean or enclosed in plastic. This part was disappointing. Slept four but only one hand towel and two wash cloths were provided. 4 shower towels were great. Overall a great location and a clean condo just needed cleaner bedding and more towels.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights and we had an amazing time. We wanted to stay close to the Village so that we don't have to drive much, so the Westin was super convenient. Ricky's place was clean, comfortable and just as described. He was easy to communicate with. We would love to come back again.

This condo was perfect- the drawback was that we rented a dog friendly condo vs a hotel room in order to be able to leave the dogs alone at times and then later discovered the property owner didn’t want dogs left in the room in the email post confirming reservation. Otherwise it was lovely, beautiful, great bed/pillows and I love the Georgia O’Keefe prints.

Comfortable home with fireplace just steps from the slopes
Wonderful place to stay for ski vacation. Comfortable home with everything there including comfortable throw blankets for enjoying cold evenings in front of the fireplace. Just steps from the gondola and restaurants in the village. Owner was very responsive to any issues and concerns. The coffeemaker carafe was missing and within an hour a new coffeemaker was dropped off at the door.
