Villa de los Pinos 42, aka "Knotty & Nice Mammoth", is a beautifully decorated, designer remodeled, family friendly two-story townhouse, replete with 2-bedrooms and 2 full-baths. Conveniently located in the center of Mammoth Lakes, guests can enjoy easy access to shopping dining, and entertainment, as well as the free shuttle—which stops right outside your door!

The bright open-plan living area is located on the second floor. The kitchen features quartz countertops, a breakfast bar with seating for two, and plenty of counterspace. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table adjacent to the kitchen or outside on the deck replete with outdoor furniture, gas grill, and lovely views.

*Please be advised that this home does not have air conditioning.

The dining room flows into the comfortable living room, which features a plush sectional sofa and loveseat, a wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV, and a cozy wood burning stove. There is also a full bathroom on this floor and a charming reading nook around the corner from the living room—an ideal spot for children.

At the end of a busy day exploring Mammoth, guests can get some rest in one of two bedrooms located on the first floor. The primary suite has a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and access to a patio with outdoor seating. The second bedroom features two twin beds, an additional rollaway twin bed, and access to the same patio. There is a shared full bath on this floor.

A nicely landscaped courtyard area can be found at the center of the complex, providing space to relax for you and room to run for the kids! Villa de los Pinos has so much to offer including a pool, spa, sauna, tennis and volleyball courts.

For your convenience, Villa de los Pinos 42 can accommodate 2 cars in designated outdoor parking spots. The condo is also equipped with a washer and dryer.

This home welcomes pets for an additional fee of $150 plus tax per pet, for up to 2 pets(All pets must be under 40 lbs)

Good condo in good location, but would benefit greatly with some changes (bigger beds mainly)

Attention- 1 small rounded glass had a crack, so that was thrown awayNeeds- dish sponge- cloth to wipe counters- paper towels - larger trash cans in kitchen and bathrooms- Downstairs shower door needs plastic sealing strip replaced (leaks at hinge which allows water to puddle outside the tub area)- Upstairs shower needs door fixed (opens about 4” after closing and does not stay shut)- Larger beds than twins (even XL twins would be better and would be a better sell for families with teens or a group of 4 adults/2 couples/etc)Nice- Quick response by Jonathan to clear drain, fix drain; confirmed loose trash door under sink and front door tightness- Lots of firewood (could use more firestarter)- Lots of appliances and adequate cooking and baking supplies- Ample plates, glassware, and utensils (nice to not have to wash after every meal) and good quality- Good living room set-up (big TV and large sofa)- Updated kitchen, bath, decor (those tile floors in the bathroom sure do get cold, though!)- Close parking- Heaters worked well- Lots of windows for light and wood floorsSuggestions- More towel bars in both bathrooms- instructions on how to operate the shower dials- Turn down hot water temp. Current setting is scalding hot. Safety issue. - More ice trays for the freezer- Garbage disposal- Put pot holders/trivets in a closer spot to the range/oven.- Provide a dish sponge and cloth to wipe counters- Provide a few paper towels & napkins for starters

Blizzard stay

Really enjoyed staying here it was a beautiful home and we were so thankful to be in it when the blizzard came for a few days in a row! There was a stunning view from many windows/slidders with a bright and open upstairs to watch the storm. There was easy access for a bus ride up to the mountain, and the grocery store was also very close. The indoor Jacuzzi with a view of the outside was also a highlight for our family. It felt homey and yet cabin at the same time, just the right mixture. Would happily book here again for another trip.

Knotty & Nice Condo

It is a wonderful property which has been updated very well. Great walking location to Mammoth Red Line Shuttle and to local restaurants and Von about 8-10 minute walk. A couple of suggestions, find the neighbor whose dog barks at 8:00 am every morning and have a nice conversation. Second, I think the owner can upgrade to garbage disposal which a standard feature in most homes today. I find it a little creepy that OWNER was watching the heat or heaters on her NEST APP and called the property to come over check that we did not unplug something or a heater. If the renter wants to unplug a space heater. Have property manager call, not show up at your door at 4-5pm checking no their NEST equipment.

Mammoth Condo

This is a nice unit. However, not to the fault of anyone other than mother nature, it was a bit like a cave due to snow piled on the deck and blocking the downstairs windows as well. That made it very dark. We also were disappointed that the TV did not have cable so we were unable to find news / The Today show etc other than recordings of segments on repeat. That was unfortunate with all the travel and weather issues. Also, the bathroom is either 100% HEAT or off and the tub leaks all over the floor making it a little messy and requiring a lot of towels to clean up every time. The kitchen and bath are updated so that was nice!

Sweet renovated condo

The experience was excellent. The condo is tastefully renovated, very clean, and well-appointed. The owner/rental company responded quickly. Check in time is 5 PM which is a little late but they were able to accommodate an earlier check in which was great. I would absolutely go back.
