Pros: Beautiful view, quiet, friendly front desk clerk (owner?), breakfast available (we didn’t take advantage since it was more expensive than we budgeted). The beds were very comfortable. Not far from Chéticamp, Mabou, and the scenic Cabot Trail.
Neutral: The sheets and towels were laundered with Gain, which is super fragrant (that is great for some and less great for others).
Cons: It is a motel. It has an entrance to the outdoors (not an indoor hallway). It has a small mini fridge and microwave, and it lacks luxury and most amenities. That said, it seems like most places along the Cabot Trail are basic motels, and there wasn’t anything ‘wrong’ with this motel. I didn’t especially love my stay here, but there weren’t better options in the area as far as I could tell.
