The Place to Stay in Marion
This is always our go-to when stopping in Marion. We stay here a few times per year. Always great service, nearby parking, and love the York peppermint patties on the bedside tables. We had a comfy king junior suite with a fridge and microwave. Only wished the two arm chairs were more comfortable and that there was a heavier blanket for the bed due to the cold snap that passed through. This is the place to stay in Marion, especially being in the heart of downtown.

Lovely historic building. Bed and blankets were my only issues - mattress was too soft and every movement from my partner was felt on my side of the bed. Blankets were thin and over starched. Great employees though and hot water!

I love what the owners are doing with this place. A grand old building, I found it to be comfortable, quiet, and charming. That said, I was disappointed that the hotel has neither restaurant nor bar as listed on Expedia (or, if they exist, they weren't open the night I was there). And this is a small thing but, in a classy joint like this, it would have been nice to see the desk staff dressed in something more upscale than a sweatshirt. If you're trying to recreate a classic vibe, little things like that matter.

Charming hotel in downtown Marion!
We came over on a last minute trip to go to a concert at the Lincoln Theater. Great location only steps from the venue with great restaurant choices at the hotel and within easy walking distance. Charming historic hotel with comfy beds, very quiet--would definitely stay there again if in the area.

It was a picturesque hotel just off 81. Very convenient to get to and plenty of parking for being on downtown main street. Lovely government buildings and lots of history next door. They allow service dogs which is great.
