Perfect oasis in Marrakech
Some of the prices quoted in the information for this hotel have gone up so check with Francoise first (it may have already been changed as I write this review). This is an amazing Riad with very friendly and helpful staff (nothing was too much trouble) - it is in probably the best location in Marrakech for tourism in the older part of town. There are some great little restaurants close by as well (Jama, BlackChich and dejeuner a la marrakech) They also helped us arrange some day trips - we didn't realise but they ended up being private for us and the people chosen to guide were absolutely great, not sure about the value as we didn't shop around. Management spoke good english and were there every morning to see how everyone was (or at the end of a what's app message at all other times). There was somebody was at the Riad 24 hours a day in case we needed anything (knowing a bit more french than we did may have helped here but we worked out what we needed to say). The Riad is lovely and clean and has so many lovely terraces - enough so that there is always somewhere quiet and private to go and relax, in or out of the sun. There is even a hot tub on one of the terraces (it a bit old and so not all the jets work - but it is a great place to sit in the evening when the sun is a bit cooler.) You get breakfast as part of the cost of the room every morning which includes moroccan cake (Meskouta), fresh fruit salad, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, freshly baked breads, jams and honey, coffee, tea, and some local crepes (Msemen) or crumpets (Bagrir). The rooms are amazing decorated and feel very luxurious - the beds are very comfy. I would definitely return and I would reccomend this Riad to you. Happy travels.
