My thanks to the wonderful staff at Omni Grove Park Inn. We were a large party with multiple rooms. They set us up on the same floor. They were really helpful in setting up dinner for 13 people. The food was excellent, and rooms were lovely. The property is awesome.
The history of the property was very interesting. My wife and I loved the Spa. Looking forward to our next visit.

Disappointing for a property that is promoted as upscale. Service was hit or miss, semi-isolated with very limited transportation services, limited dining options with limited menu options. Grand lobby area was literally all rock if you like that sort of thing. Rooms were average. Property does not merit resort pricing.
I had a wonderful time at the Grove Park Inn. I had a mountain view room and it was nice. The hotel is beautiful and huge. They have a lovely fireplace in the lobby where you can relax and listen to the piano. The spa is amazing but the spots usually fill up quickly and require a 3 month in advance booking. The restaurants on site are very good and there are a variety of food options available. I also enjoyed lattes and snacks at their coffee shop. The sunset terrace area was also one of my favorite spots where I spent time in the evenings. The view of the Blueridge Mountains was very calming and beautiful.
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make my stay more comfortable. They brought me a microwave to my room upon request. An elevator staff member named Lish gave my mother and I a mini tour of the historic Palm Court area on the second floor of the main building. It was a pleasure meeting Lish and learning more about the history of the Inn. If you are not staying in the main building, I would recommend taking a ride in the main building elevators since they are so neat.
I flew to Asheville to visit the Biltmore Estate and it was not at all far from the Grove Park Inn. I am glad I chose to stay at the Grove Park Inn and will surely visit again.
Overall we loved our stay. The sunsets were amazing from the back patio and there are so many things to do and see just located on the hotel property. The only down sides was not enough seating on the outside veranda to accommodate guests wanting to view the sunset from outside instead of inside. We stayed in the older section of the hotel, which I enjoyed. However, there was a few small problems with lights and under lighting that was not fixed before we left. Overall, its still an awesome place to stay.
