I had a very difficult time climbing up into the too tall bed.
The staff was very friendly, and rooms were very clean, thank you for that so much, I was a maid for a 5 Star Hotel back in the day so I always take pride in a room when it is well kept.
It is a dressed up Days Inn, which is was previous to being acquired. Elevator out of service, the outside exit was propped up on pilings. Doors to the rooms barely close. People walking on second floor extremely loud so the insulation is poor. Breakfast offered but very average. Can't leave your bags early before check-in. For $200 plus a night, its a way overpriced place.
Even the bar that they advertise is 'under construction' and the sign has been out front for almost a year.
No room key’s available, elevator broken down, false fire alarm at 12:45am, had to evacuate. Site says breakfast included but is poor excuse of danish. Staff was great and apologetic. Place is nice but poorly managed.
Hotel is amazing. Shower was the highlight of the trip. Large room w/nice size bathroom , dining table for 4-6 persons, queen bed w/bunked separate room, 2 nice size TV with lots channels, WiFi good. This was excellent place to stay and will come back again. The reason only 4 stars is because TV did not get fixed til 9pm at night, and elevator out of service on last day. We were on 2nd floor so hauling suitcases etc. down to car was a pain. Otherwise great place.
The staff was pretty rude and unhelpful. We got into town for a wedding and asked if we could check in a little early as the wedding started at 3 (same time as check in). Girl at the front desk said “mmm probably not”…… um ma’am, you’re the one who can tell me if we can check in early, to which she replied “you can check in at 10 when the weddings over”. Honestly if it wasn’t such a small town and we had more options I probably would have cancelled our stay and booked somewhere else.
