Charming cabin
Beautiful location, the cabin had a nice open floor plan. The drive way was not plowed and it had recently snowed about 8-10 inches, we were able to get in ok, but a vehicle with lower ground clearance might have difficulty making it up the approximate 100 yard length driveway. Check in was very easy. The check out instructions asked to walk the trash can to the end of the driveway which was hard to do, given the driveway length and the deep snow. Otherwise, the check out was pretty easy.

It was great
The only thing that would have made my stay better would be having a fire pit and some of the mattresses upstairs need to be replaced. Everything else was excellent including our 4-legged visitors.

Quaint and quiet
We had a nice time in this little house. It was very clean. Beds were comfortable. I would not want to stay more than a couple nights because there’s no WiFi and no data available. Very little for drinking glasses other than coffee mugs. Like I said this place is great and super tucked into the woods but for lack of kitchen things and WiFi would not want a long stay here.

Rustic retreat in the forest
My wife and I loved this place for its location in the woods, rustic character, and solitude. We did wish they had a coffee grinder/chopper and dishwasher (the latter especially during the pandemic). The place was very clean, although there were off-smells in the upstairs bedrooms. Our kids were really wanting wifi/internet, but my wife and I liked getting our kids unplugged. Phone service was spotty. Vacasa was not good with communication, but it didn't detract from our experience.

Rustic digital detox
As stated in other reviews there is no WiFi am very little cell service. This should not deter visitors from choosing this rental. The rustic feel surrounded by forest and wildlife make you feel like it is just you and nature even though you are just minutes from downtown McCall.

Mouse poop
There was mouse poop in several locations. I have pictures. We most likely won’t rent from you again because we were seriously worried about when it was cleaned, which it should have been shortly before we came due to COVID-19 . I have pictures, it was gross

Charming cabin, delightful location. Would definitely rent again.
My husband and I rented this cabin for a few day's getaway. We had a great experience. The cabin is secluded and quiet while still conveniently located close to McCall, Payette Lake, and Ponderosa State Park. It was the exact peaceful escape we were seeking. Beautiful meadow view from back porch. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee while watching deer graze feet away. The cabin is charming and comfortable. It was equipped with everything we needed. This was a good thing though because Urbo gave us no way to contact them if there was a problem. A welcome card on the kitchen counter instructed us to call them if we needed anything, but didn't give a phone number (the cabin has no wifi). A couple other (minor) criticism: The first floor bathroom sink was clogged and didn't drain properly. At night, there was a really bright light shining on the front of the cabin that made a loud buzzing noise. There was no way to turn it off that we could find. We found both the bright light and buzzing annoying, but not to the point that it detracted from our stay. The water had a strong smell and taste of sulfur, so if this kind of thing bothers you, I recommend buying water like we ended up doing. These are all minor issues. Overall, we were very impressed with the cabin and our experience there and would rent it again in a second.

Great experience in nature!
Our families had a good time in the cabin. Good experience for our children in nature. “No Wifi connection” naturally herds children finding a way to have fun together without devices. The cabin is surrounded by woods and we did feel staying in completely isolated area; however a big/nice grocery store is actually just 5 min away from the cabin (and the store opens until 11pm), so this is really nice and easy for us as parents. At McCall Lake, children swam and played on the beach all day long!

Nice and secluded.
It was a nice place to stay for a couple of days just to get away. It wasn't quite ready for us come check in time but when we came back in an hour the cleaning was done. The front porch had some damage and didn't look real safe and the water well cap was setting cockeyed on the well so it wasn't sealed. Made me wonder how safe the water was for drinking so we drank bottled water. The inside was nice and clean and decorated.

The cabin is very cozy.
The cabin was cozy but I was concerned that nothing at all had been done about the thick ice covering the front poor making for a treacherous entry.

Ok place, not so clean and lacked some needed features
Overall the house was fine, but the dishes were mostly dirty and we had to clean them before we could use them. The overall house and bathrooms were not so clean, there were bugs everywhere (spiders and some flying things). The house is not where you can get a cell signal, so it really needs WiFi (happy to pay a few dollars more) and the DVDs were all so scratched none would play. Left for a lack of fun at night... We would not come back to this unit - but it was ok for a short weekend trip.

Set off the road and secluded in the beautiful pine trees. Close to town but not super close.
My wife and I needed a little get away and this was it! We did 2 nights at this cool rustic cabin and we loved it. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and of course kept the wood stove going all day. This cabin sleeps many but we had the downstairs room and the bed was clean and comfy. Thank you vacasa!

AMAZING!
This property is the perfect distance from town to give “the cabin feel” yet close enough to be convenient. Cabin came stocked with wood for the stove, linens for the bed, towels, full kitchen, etc. Woke up every morning to deer right outside our cabin windows! If coming in the Winter be sure your vehicle can navigate the hills with a few inches of snow and the unplowed driveway. Overall, what an incredible space and experience.

Sweet little cabin in the woods!!
Booking this cabin was very nice and easy. The place looked just like the photos and was in a great location just outside of the town. We loved the place. There were 7 of us and so we all had our own beds and they were all but one very perfect. Things that we were not so happy about.were. 1) When we showed up the place was COLD like 48. We could not get the heater to turn on due to dead batteries. (we replaced) 2) We were told or read that we would have some firewood for the fireplace. There were 3 pieces but they were way too long and big for the woodstove. So we did have to go right out and get wood from the store. 3) The dishes in the cupboard were DIRTY. We had to wash eggs out of a pan before we could use it. Dirty hot water kettle like burnt stuff in it (nasty) Dirty wine glasses and plates and mugs. So we ended up washing all the dishes before we could use any of them. 4) No dish towel to dry the dishes. Great things 1) no one was around. 2) wildlife all over. 3) beds good condition. 5) We had a great time 6) It was a very cute place. 7) We were able to check in early. We would be more than willing to come back again

Great cabin in the woods
The cabin was exactly what we wanted. It felt very secluded and had a beautiful view from the many windows in the living area. Our kids loved exploring outside in the snow around the cabin. We would definitely go back and stay again. My only suggestion would be to move the two twin beds that are in the upstairs room to the left into the room to the right with all the other twin beds. Then bring the full size bed into the other room. Makes more sense if you have two families staying so the parents have their own full size bed. Overall, we absolutely loved it!
