The hotel makes no attempt to stand out in anyway. It’s a good average hotel. For the price I would rate it as below average. While the low level immigrant cleaning and room staff did make extra effort to please guests, the front desk local staff were arrogant without any idea of customer service (or maybe it was intentional). EXAMPLES. They don’t even care to look at you or say hello or welcome. At checkin they never cared to look at us. On other occasions when we approached the desk for some enquiry, they didn’t even raise their heads to acknowledge our presence. Now, having been to Makkah four times (1996, 2009, 2024, 2025), I am used to being ignored and typical local arrogance. However, Hoteling is a service business, with guest care being its top priority. I suggest this hotel hire friendlier front desk / reception staff with the right temperament and training. Very unfortunate
