Love this hotel. Starbucks in lobby. Restaurant for dinner and breakfast was great. Easy access to beach. Chair and umbrella rental $40 a day you can come and go. Its till 5pm only but they tend to put everything away more like 3pm. Parking $20 valet or self park same rate. They do have EV charging. Check in and out easy and quick. Pool was nice.
Another tremendous stay at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne - Oceanfront. By far the best oceanfront hotel in Melbourne, FL. Their oceanfront suites are fantastic! I've stayed in suite 724 and now 824. Views and sunsets/sunrises to die for. Big shout out to Joe (check-in), Tia (Check-out), Whitney & Karen (Breakfast) and a special mention to Emma (Longboards) who's hospitality and courtesy went above & beyond. Thank You! An extra-special mention to the front-desk manager - Sean. From our email exchanges before I arrived, to accommodating my requests & chatting in the foyer. Sean is an absolute gentleman and a credit to the hotel. Looking forward to my 3rd stay when I return to Melbourne in December :)
To address a few issues first, the parking was pretty confusing but the valet was very nice and explained to us the options. You can either self-park across the street near the fire station and use the pedestrian bridge to return to the hotel or opt for the valet service for a fee. This setup was somewhat frustrating, as we preferred easy access to our car. Also, the AC in our room worked sporadically. We woke up throughout the night from the heat and would have to try and turn the it on. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.
Disregarding those things, the stay was otherwise pleasant. The room we had was very clean and we got a balcony facing the water. The view was lovely. The hotel pool was well-maintained, and the beach was conveniently located just behind it. I had a very short stay so I can't attest to any other services. If the parking could be improved I would book again without hesitation.
Breakfast was the only disappointment. Everything else was top notch. At $20 a person for breakfast I would have rather gone somewhere else. IHOP/Waffle House
We love the hotel, but our first room had a horrible odor and lamps rusted. They mived us and have 2 vouchers for drinks, but this room also had a bad odor.. they really need to some deep cleaning and sanitizing to get the odors out of the rooms. The food, the Bar and outside seating was excellent..
We like that it was right in the beach with easy access. We had a great waitress named Maddie at the cabana when it was raining. The room was nice and comfortable.
We just didn’t realize the valet parking was required since there was no parking on the premises.
