The room was clean and spacious. The hallways and stairwell were startling in their dirtiness. Several things were broken or off within our room, (such as hot/cold being reversed; toilet bowl was cracked and a small chunk was missing{was not leaking, though}; and only 2 wash cloths with 2 small(er) towels. No floor rug or hand towels). AT breakfast, the desk attendant shared that they had run out of food (1 hr and 15 mins before brfk closed) and the next morning, they were out of plates. The desk attendant did find plates before I left.
While I have stayed at worse hotels, I didn't appreciate the rating of 4.8 when I looked online. I would have rated it as a 2.5 instead. I would not stay at this hotel again.
This hotel was so dirty. Broken lamp in the room. Smoke detector hanging from the ceiling by a wire an inch of dust on the air conditioner so that no cold air could come out. The room was like 80°. . The bathtub I would not even put my dirty self in. Had like a complete layer of gray black grime. Clearly they have no idea what bleach is. A little comet would have gone a long way.
All the customer service were rude. They were no blankets on the bed call for blankets said they were out. Smoke detector was not connected toilet, ran over call for assistant front desk young man says someone can come and get plunger he could not bring it up, called him back told him I was not able to come down. He finally came up and it was two of them. This stay at this hotel was terrible is stinking no phones in the room to call the front Desk this was awful let out couch was nasty sheets was dirty just nasty.
The hotel smelled. Children were running up and down the stain filled hallway.
The furniture was mismatched and scratched. The desk chair was peeling and worn.
The towels were stained
No shower curtain.
The door in between rooms - was open and would not lock

Several outlets did not work.
There was an ironing board but no iron in the room nor the front desk.
Arrived in the evening to check in. We were told our room would be ready in 5 minutes. After waiting abut 15 minutes we were able to enter our room. The room had stained bedding. There was food left in the fridge. Mold in the bathroom around trim and top of shower. There was a white substance on the chair. Paint was peeling off the walls. Lampshade missing from lamp. Bed was fairly comfortable so that was a plus. Pool hours are limited from 3-9. Breakfast consisted of 2 types of old cereal. Milk in the fridge was in a dirty container. Bagels and toast were available. Luke warm biscuits and gravy. Didn’t see anyone brave enough to try them. They had waffles that you could make but stuck to the waffle maker. That was and adventure. Overall we were disappointed since we booked this place because it had a pool and breakfast. Neither did we use.
There was hair on the tub floor and wall, the room stinked bad. I had a 2 bedroom and only one of the beds had a blanket the other one just sheets. The pool water is murky and nasty.

Reservation came through wrong at first. Supposed to be king suite w/ pullout sofa, at first given king w/ jacuzzi was told had cot that needed linens. Jacuzzi was very dirty. Went back to office and at this time original room reserved was found but wanted extra charge but manager override. Room was nasty. Food remains along wall in floor. Stains on sofa. Odor in room. Office chair torn up peeling material. Cigarette burn marks throughout. Sheets didnt fit the bed. Sat on bed for a minute then mattress almost slid off when got up. Bleach stains throughout entire hotel. Pool looked nasty and stagnent like it had a film on it. Very unhappy. Decided to drive home instead. Will NEVER lodge at this Baymont again!
The front desk lady was extremely rude, there was no telephone in the room, so there was no way to get anything extra if you needed it and they also didn’t bring anything to the room. You had to figure out how to find it throughout the hotel.
Checking in was a hassle, they didn’t have the type of room I booked available so I ended up with 4 kids in a king bed instead of 2 doubles. The next day was a hassle switching rooms. Attempted to check out a day early and was told by front desk I had to send an email to the manager, which I never received a response. The rooms were at least cleaner than the halls which were stained with bags of garbage outside half the rooms, the pool was dirty, and I didn’t trust the cleanliness to allow my children to eat the included breakfast. Nothing was sealed except yogurt.
There weren't enough towels in the room. When we asked for more, we were told that they were fully booked and they weren't ready for it! The complimentary toiletries had not been replenished. One bed didn't have a blanket on it. The pool heater didn't work. At breakfast, the waffle maker was dirty and no member of the staff ever checked on the breakfast area. I tried to find someone but they appeared to be hiding.
See pictures below. Also tried to have someone, anyone talk to me about canceling thw 3rd night well in advance and was told to email. Have not heard a thing back. Only ever saw 1 staff behind the desk when checked in and when said we were leaving.
