During our stay we got charged for an extra night. They claim that we requested an extension to our stay. After our 2 night reservation we dropped the keys off in the drop box and left the property. The next day I had a charge for another night. I have called and inquired about the charges 3 times to be passed off to someone else or told there was nothing they could do about it since I request the extra night. I was supposed to be receiving a return call from management but 3 days have passed and I still have not heard from them.

Decent option for a stay
Decent property. Service depends on day of the week. Limited restaurants for a casino/hotel. Rrstaurants within a 10min drive is a much better option. One wing is dated/old, other new. Even the old wing, the room were fairly updated and clean.

The rooms are esquisite, luxurious and comfortable. I felt like this hotel could be downtown New York.. You never felt like your only in Michigan City. By far the best Hotel in Michigan CIty. The beds are so NICE. The rooms are very spacious.I give this room a 12 out of a 10.. way over the top.

It's ok
Restaurants and bars seem short staffed. Always a wait time for drinks at the bar and there seemed to be a constant line for food at one of the the "quick-serve" restaurants. That said, the staff that was there was very kind and seemed to be working diligently. I always forget people can smoke on the casino floor, so there is a haze and odor of smoke. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were going to check out the pool area, but it seemed a little neglected. Automated check-in/check-out option was nice.

There’s nothing within walking distance. The room was comfortable and spacious, but seal on shower door was loose, which soaked the floor. Lobby and common areas smell strongly of cigarette smoke.
