It was set up as a free continental breakfast. We had a guy in street clothes come and tell us that it was $14 a plate after we sat down and started eating. He said the waiter was late so couldn’t have told us. Was also told it would be $10 per hour for late check out, specifically asked to stay until 3 pm because we had to work the night shift at the ED. Sure great, check out is at noon, late check out at 3 pm= $30. Nope, $50. No explanation, just $50. Seems like a scam or a lot of staff that have no clue what is going on and just charging for everything they can.

The staff was very nice, but our TV did not work, and the bathroom shower handle was coming off the wall. It is a cold city, so you think extra effort would be made to keep the place warm, but no, it is cold everywhere. You can't be near a window because the cold air will blow through the wall and right on you. Check if breakfast is included because it isn't included in all rooms. Easy parking, and if you are using the hotel or the tram, it is super easy to get to. Mall of America is across the street.
