Great place after huge disappointment
We had booked another local 7 plus rated hotel that turned out to be a dive ! Then we had to find a replacement last second when we found Wingate at Wyndham. Great amenities and very pet friendly, facilities were very nice and a much needed place to ease our frustration. Great choice

Meh. It did the job.
We stayed 3 nights. Condition was fair at best. Windows had weird shading streaks, bathtub chipped, cheap&ugly linoleum counters & tub surround. But worst part was banging and tapping that started about 7am each morning. Maintenance work? Unsure. The breakfast had a lot of offerings but the cleanliness and overall kind of run down feel of the place didn’t inspire confidence so I just had a banana one day.

Prepare to double charged if your flight get delay
We checked into our hotel after 3 am. They said they cancelled our booking through hotels.com and we needed to rebook and repay for the night essentially causing us to pay for the same night twice. When asking the front desk for more info at check out they said we needed to contact to hotels.com. Hotels.com has never replied to our messages about the situation.

What a joke! Last minute booking because our plans changed. I wish we had driven the 180 miles back home instead. We arrived at 10:00PM. The front desk staff was the most disinterested I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Not so much as a “Good Evening”. The room was spartan to say the least. The TV’s HDMI cable was disconnected at the Xfinity box and when connected, no sound (I checked to see if it was on mute). So no evening news or weather. The mattress was good! But the pillows were small, square and I believe made of concrete. One thin sheet and an equally thin blanket. Vinyl roll flooring was a nice touch. Then there was the restful ambiance. They were tearing up a nearby parking lot with heavy equipment complete with backup beepers. 5:15AM, the next door neighbors TV came on at a very high volume. Sleeping was out of the question. At 8AM we decided to try the advertised 6AM to 10AM continental breakfast which apparently had been left on another continent. No waffle batter, but then again, no plate to eat a waffle on or plastic knives to cut a waffle with. No sausage or eggs left either but the hot table was covered in nasty greasy goo! Yuck! The morning desk clerk had vanished (blue dyed hair and all) so we gave up, grabbed a packaged muffin and some O. J., and returned to our room, packed up and left. Property is in poor condition

The young man that checked us in on October 25 was very helpful. The next morning he was still there trying to get breakfast ready. An employee didn’t show up for work so he had worked all night. Still he was friendly! We would stay there again.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Beyond the expected waffle machine, there were egg dishes, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, milk, juices, tea, hot chocolate, and coffee. An assortment of pastries, muffins, bagels, toast, etc. Different options every day. Really wonderful. Super nice exercise room, pool and hot tub. Really nice staff. Had a great visit. Will return next time we're in town!

Double charged
I booked a stay for my wife, and I paid through Hotels.com. The hotel took my wife’s card for “incidentals” but proceeded to charge her for the whole night. They are unwilling to help, giving us the run around about talking to a manager that apparently only works once a month. We called Wyndham’s customer service and they said only the hotel can help us. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing, we probably won’t be using hotels.com or going to a Wyndham hotel again.

Good for a short stay.
Rooms were nice, could tell thet were in the middle of updates, but not in a messy way. There was a dumpster outside, orherwise I may not have even really noticed, but our room had a few paint scuffs or furniture scuffs from being moved I presumed. Overall room: Nothing fancy, basics-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Pillows were small and only 3 to a bed, bring your own pillows! The one time I skip out on bringing mine! Pool was nice. Hot tub was actually hot! Breakfast was kept well stocked in the AM with a small variety of both hot and cold options. Nice location for what we needed, an Aldi right next door and food rigbt across the street.
