The front desk staff have been phenomenal. We were impressed with their professionalism, service and helpfulness.
However we were greatly disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. It appears house keeping inspections have not been conducted. The mattress protectors on the hide a bed couches in all three rooms are disgusting at best.
This is the second time I stayed here and it’s gone down hill since two years prior.
We started in room 412. We found crumbs, bugs and multiple blood stains and on the hide a bed, dirt hair and filth behind the mattresses and a bottle cap and dirt on the room floor.
We then moved to 226. Where we found another dirty hide a bed. A spoon, garbage, battery, more crumbs, tone nail, Skittles and possible tampon?!? Lastly the door didn’t latch shut properly.
We finally settled on room 210. We felt that one ant, a dirty sock and a small blood stain on the bed was the cleanest we were going to get. Which in my standards is not acceptable. The night staff did inform us that they were unable to refund our rooms as we did ask thinking we could change hotels. We emailed the manager Friday night when we checked in. We went to the front desk Saturday no manager, phoned later in the afternoon when she was suppose to be in and she wasn’t available. Sent the manager another email Saturday. Went back to the front desk Sunday between 9-3 when she was suppose to be in she still wasn’t there. Still haven’t heard and we did not get a discount.
