Over the last five years, I have stayed at 8-10 Hyatt Place properties. This is by far the lowest quality experience. The common areas are not clean (stained carpets, furniture, windows). The rooms are a bit dated, but would be fine if they were at least clean (they're not). The bathroom fixtures and floor were dirty and the floor was covered in hair. This property needs some cosmetic work, but more importantly, it needs a deep clean.

The bathroom lavatory was actually not in the bathroom but an area outside of the bathroom which made it difficult to get ready without waking the spouse. No available USB ports in the room at all. I STRONGLY advise against staying at this hotel. Pulling in, there was roadkill in multiple spots throughout the driveway and parking lot. When I went to check-in, no one was there to help me for several minutes and when she finally arrived, it seemed as if I was inconveniencing her. When I got to my room, there were stains all over the carpet and the room had a very unpleasant odor. The worst part, however, was the bathroom. The shower floor was covered in rust, the shower curtain had mold all over it, and the shower head was rusty and moldy as well. There was no way I was going to take a shower in there…showering shouldn’t feel like a health hazard. Despite multiple attempts to turn the AC down, it wouldn’t go below 72°. Overall, I couldn’t wait to leave this property. The value you’re getting is so far from worth the cost. This place is disgusting. Do SO much better Hyatt.

Good but a little disappointed

I was there on business but had also brought my wife since we are originally from there. We did bring 2 of our dogs and paid the additional costs for cleaning. I had spilled some water on the carpet and grabbed a towel to clean it up. I was taken back by the amount of dirt that I brought up besides the water. As I inspected it closer it appeared that the carpet probably hadn't been shampooed for a while. Rest of the stay was good , especially the staff. Would recommend that they have their carpets shampooed since that's what I believe that we are charged for.

I waited 2 hours before I was checked in due to housekeeping still cleaning. The room still was looking dirty and old fashioned looking. Furniture looked old. The pool area was full the whole day, kids and guest walking from pool through the hotel and floor staying wet and unsafe. It was a horrible stay and couldn’t believe what I was seeing at this hotel.

We enjoyed our spacious room. The shower was also really large and had a high shower head and felt awesome. The breakfast was really great with a multitude of options. Great central location to a lot of dining options.
