This was the second worst hotel I've ever had to stay in, if it had roaches then it would have been THE worst. The enitre hotel reeked of old tuna, it was unbearable to the point that I had to use cologne and perfume to make the room bearable. The toilet would only flush urine when it did work. The shower head was poorly repaired and pointed at the wall in a fixed position so if you wanted to wash your hair you had to put your face against the shower wall. The faucet in the bathroom wasn't secured to the counter top and the temp settings were backwards, also the kitchenette sink faucet was unsecured. The deadbolt lock for the door could have been kicked open by a 3 year old and was in no way sufficient. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone, but atleast it didnt have roaches.

The staff was very friendly. There were aspects of the room that could have been a little cleaner or things fixed, such as lights that were out and things like that. Overall for the price is was good and it's in a good location.

They tried to charge my card at 11 AM the day of and it was not required until I check in. The receptionist called and said that it was sold out and was trying to charge my card. If not, it was gonna cancel my room. I told her no, it’s not required. I was on my way. The room look like a first year do room. It did not look like the pictures on the Internet no curtain just blinds. My bed was pretty much a full bed. The hallway carpet was stained and dirty. The phone in the room did not work came in about 11 no staff the windows was closed. I knocked on the door that staff no one came leaving the next morning for 8 AM. Receptionist area closed maintenance person janitorial picked up the iron that I was leaving for the front desk.

I’ve been to Monroe twice and I’ve stayed here each time and I like the location and the staff! Mrs. Theresa is my absolute favorite, she’s pleasant and she has a great personality. Some upgrades can be done but overall I like the hotel. As long as I’m coming to Monroe, I’ll book here!

Check-in & check-out were amazing. The front desk staff member was so friendly & seemed like she enjoyed her job very much. The room seemed a bit humid. The bed was not very comfortable but it served its purpose.

Disgusting Bathroom
My toilet was leaking at the bottom of it, and the water was seeping out of the Vinyl plank on the floor and a gentleman came in and replaced the toilet but did not fix the floor. It smelled like urine and feces. I also had no choice but to take a shower and walk in. The staff was rude, constantly asking for payment, even though Hotels.com had paid my bill for me. One night I was waiting for a phone call in the lobby, and a gentleman sat down beside me and asked Me if I needed help. I told him that they would not let me in my room because they said my room was not paid for. I feel like I have no choice but to turn this over to the authorities I am very sick with kidney failure and the hotel did not care. Please do not stay at this place because they will be rude. You will sleep in disgusting nastiness. The only positive thing about this place is it is close to the movies and restaurants.
