Staff very friendly. Room clean and comfotable. Shower and dink took very long to warm up. Grounds very nice. Firepit warm and inviting. Only real objection was anyone showering next or abo e you could be heard in our room. Kept getting woken ip by running water. Proximity to grocery and shopping good.

This was our favorite hotel when we toured highway 1 down the coast. The location is convenient, I did t mind driving to get into Carmel-by-the-sea as this hotel offered several nooks including the fire pits, bar, lobby seating and pool area to hang out. And we also had a balcony with chairs. Lits of great options. The bartender was super friendly, loved the decor. Whomever was in charge of the remodel and choosing colors, themes was on pointe.

Spacious, good quality hotel just outside Carmel. Ideal location for getting around Carmel, Monterey, Big Sur. Prompt service when required. Good facilities such as restaurant and pool. Next door to Barnyard development for other dining options and shopping. Recommended.

Old but beautiful
This Hotel is old but for the most part they have done some updating. Like the bathroom in my room the paint was peeling along the baseboard. The carpet needs badly updating. It’s like really loud Los Vegas Casino carpets. The service is great very friendly staff.
