This is the worst experience i have ever had at a hotel. Room #117 is terrible.The toilet wouldnt flush. There was garbage from previous stay. Stains on ths floors. The bathrub had white chesp paint that looked disgusting. The tv remote wasnt working and the tv kept loosing connection. The worst part of all, one window didnt have secondary curtain and you could see into our room all day and all night. We had to use bed sheet covers to get privacy.

Had no towels. Then given towels that still had new tags and smelled. HVAC did not work at all. Luckily it didn’t get too cold or hot.

Room was dirty first night requested to be cleaned the second but there was still stains on head board walls and doors. Bedding was stained, homeless people sleeping by the stairs, pools out of service and had no parking due to people parking and sleeping in cars

Upon entering there was no one at the desk. I had to wait until someone noticed me to be checked in. Going up to the room I noticed there were tons of flies around the property. The inside of the room smelled of cigarettes & it did not look like the photos. The floors, lampshades, desk chair, headboard, walls & bathroom were all dirty. I found hair & small bugs in the bathroom. The walls were thin & damaged. You could hear neighboring rooms moving around & getting busy at night. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

Hotel room was filthy and smelled like an ashtray despite being a nonsmoking room. Staff was extremely and helpful with trying to find a different room and understanding the disappointment regarding the room.

After checking in I went to get something to eat when I got back to the room I realized the Tv didn’t work tried to call front desk and realized phone didn’t work. When I got to the front desk the guy at front desk was professional but he told me there were no more rooms available he offered to refund my money so I left.

Property is across from the Sanctuary (expensive it has the ocean view). Next to Best Western. The location here is everything next to the Marina State Beach and there is another Coastal Access on the right side, 500 yards where the RV Park is. The property is still in business, they are busy. I don't know if the bad review was base on during that time or just received a bad room. We stayed 1 night with 2 beds. You can hear people walking upstairs. Connecting room is too close, you can see footsteps of other under the doorway. Hopefully, you don't have noisy people. They give 1 towel, unless you ask for more. Complimentary breakfast wasn't bad either. You make your own waffle. They had variety for you. For the price you can't have the best of everything. If the room doesn't work for you, just go request for another room. Also, bathroom doesn't have lock. Swimming pool is small, wasn't opened, but why would you need it if you have the ocean nearby.

Renovation surprise
I was unaware of the ongoing renovation. Usually, I can deal with unexpected issues. However, this experience was not acceptable. The smoke alarm was not connected, the fire system was covered in plastic, and no lighting in the sink area. The most alarming thing was the disgraceful bedding/mattress which were soiled with bodily fluids. I have pictures! The mattress should have been tossed a long time ago.
