Easy to access upon arriving in Monterey. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff, and the room was clean. Some other guests were rowdy and loud, but this was not the fault of the hotel. Otherwise it was a nice stay while passing through town.

Property is clean and decor is updated. This sounds minor, but I appreciate the shelving in the bathroom. It's nice to have someplace to keep your toiletries you brought from home. I also like having the bus stop to the fairgrounds nearby so we could easily ride over to the Monterey Jazz Festival.

This is a terrible hotel - too noisy: 1. Kids were running in the hall way around 6::00am; 2. Guests upstairs were moving bed/sofa with squeaky noise in wee hours; 3. The shower bothering from neighbor guests was so loud as if we were sharing the same bathroom… The hotel should install noise proof or dampening insulation… Will never come back to this one or Hilton with its not-so-friendly front desk!
