First of all, this was a $60 room… that cost me $110.
Bring earplugs, everyone, this place is LOUD! Police sirens all night long, and people yelling in the alley. I gave up on getting any sleep by 5 am. Also, not very safe. My keycard took a minimum of five tries each time before I could get in my room. And after I had checked in, some guy sat down right in front of my door and just stayed there for hours. The security latch on my door was broken. All things that become a little bit of a problem when you are a woman traveling alone.
Apart from that, the breakfast was… white bread and corn flakes. Not great for sustenance. They never said there was a hot breakfast though, but just a heads up.
The staff member who checked me in was kind of rude. Seemed irritated I was even there.
So all in all, not a great experience. The good part though: the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot. Awesome place!
