I expected better based on hotel location and reviews. The bed was too firm for us. The tub barely drained, so ended up standing in inches of water when showering. However, the water pressure was great. The lady working at breakfast was really sweet and friendly. All staff was nice and friendly. Wasn't awful but wish I would have stayed elsewhere for a birthday weekend stay.

The staff, especially those who prepared breakfast, were most helpful and kind. Breakfast was pretty good as far as hotel breakfasts go. I do wish our room had been a little cleaner, however, it had clearly been cleaned and there was nothing crazily unclean about it. We did have a situation with a very dirty matt in the workout area that appeared to have feces on it. Other than this, our stay was good for what we needed.

When I checked in, there was someone in the room they assigned me - awkward! They told me there wasn't another king room available and they could "upgrade" me to a queen suite. We didn't want a queen, which is why I booked a king. Somehow they then had 2 kings available. Went to the room - the key didn't work. We had to go back down to get a new key. Finally got into our room and the remote didn't work. They said they'd take care of that but we never got a new remote, so we couldn't change the channel.

Room smelled, walls were thin and very loud hallways, there is no restaurant, our toilet had pee on it, no new towels from cleaners, the tub didn’t have a working plug. We also had no internet. Overall not a good experience at all.

Based on other reviews, I was expecting a well kept facility. The property appeared dirty and tired. The carpet in the hallways and stairwells was stained and worn out. The elevator was slow. The staff was friendly, but it wasn’t the experience I was expecting.

There was quite a bit of noise at times, but I couldn’t tell if it was from the room above or the stairwell next door. The float valve on the toilet wouldn’t turn the water (also very loud) off early of the morning of our departure. I had to use the shutoff valve to make it quiet enough to sleep. The emergency exit door at the bottom of the stairs was broken, and if needed for an emergency, the glass would have to be broken.

I'm spending one night. My children and grandchildren are staying 2 nights. When they checked in they were told the lounge/bar and restaurant is closed! There's NO mention of this prior to reserving rooms. No one would have stayed here if we had known this. We had to order food in. We were also told there was no wifi which we needed. Then the children wanted snacks, but the vending machine is out of order. The smoke detector in my room is hanging down and doesn’t work. This is a safety hazard! My daughter contacted a live agent with Expedia and was told she could get a 25 dollar credit for her next visit. ABSOLUTELY NOT! We will NOT be staying here ever again and will advise everyone to stay elsewhere. How are you going to resolve this problem. I/we expect some form of refund. This is part of our Christmas gathering and it is unprofessional and unacceptable. I expect this to be resolved.
