The lodge room was very spacious & had a large balcony with a breathtaking view. Food from the restaurant was very tasty. Looking forward to staying here again!
The hotel room was very clean but a little dated. An excellent value. Would definitely stay there again. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The dining room offered many food options and was very good and plentiful. My primary concern was the the balcony door would not lock. Still felt safe. Parking was very close to the room. The cave tours were great. The guides were excellent and a great value. Loved the forested setting! The trail to the lake and putt putt golf course could use some maintenance.
A great place to stay when you’re hiking around the Carter caves area, we appreciate it that it was pet friendly, and the rooms were reasonably priced given the limited quantity available. The rooms were clean and in pretty good condition, though the door on our room was missing a lot of paint and looked shabby, there were some small things that could be done to improve the overall of the appearance of the room like that. Overall a great experience! Will definitely come back. The staff are very friendly in the office and restaurant.

The room was great! The lodge needs new carpet, it smells old and musty when you walk in. Not very inviting.
We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and the park in general. The room was clean and a good size. The air conditioner was a bit noisy going on and off at night while trying to sleep. The staff were all very nice and helpful. We loved all of the trails and the tour of Cascade Cave! Its a very special, and unique area!
The room was cozy and cool with the air conditioning. The scenery was breathtaking, we noticed many deer families around the trails and facilities. And we were able to go touring the caves, down the creeks and we enjoyed their rather challenging putt putt golf course. We'll be bringing our kids with us next time for sure 😊
We enjoyed our stay. I need to be in better shape to do all the hiking we wanted to do. The waitresses at the restaurant went out of her way to give me some peanut butter when my blood sugar dropped. Thank you so much.
Me and my husband had the time of our lives here!!! It was so beautiful!!! And every single person we spoke to was helpful knowledgeable and so friendly! We haf read a review for here that said something about junkies being everywhere and we needed to lovk our doors but we would really like to clear this up gor anyone that read the same thing, THAT IS NOT AT ALL what we experienced, we never seen anything like this nor did we feel the need to lovk our doors. Our cabin was so clean and soo relaxing!
The area was gorgeous and the cottage was very pleasant

Karli was outstanding. she made up for the fact that the hotels.com yet again did a truly ubersuck description of the room and how to get to it. There are not any elevators to the second floor. Karli was kind enough to tell us how to mitigate the problems and was even willing to get our luggage into the room. The room itself was comfortable enough, though the handle was broken to go out on patio and the a/c was deafening, and the dining room was a disaster.
Beautiful drive up to the resort- and the rooms are spacious and clean. Most rooms have balconies overlooking a forest. There a lot of activities to do in the area- we plan to come back when we have more time to hike, bike, swim, and explore the caves!
Beautiful and clean facilities you can tell it’s a little dated but fit the mountain vibe as expected great for a quiet area with lots to do. We enjoyed horse back riding, touring the caves, nature walks, and dining at the lodge Tavern.
