Had a great stay!

We had a great stay! The was a faux pas with the hot water, so we didn't get to soak in the glorious tub at one point but we did get it resolved and it was worth the wait. We loved Moss Landing; everything we needed was there or close by and everyone we encountered was very pleasant.

Great location just off the coast

Quaint hotel in great location. We took a trip from Sa Fran down to Bug Sur & really enjoyed this hotel. Very cool house with fantastic surroundings including terrific run in room. We would definitely stay in this spot again in the future.

There were three of us staying in the Dock Holiday room which had a full size refrigerator and stove. Really enjoyed the deck. They are kinda strict about only people staying on property hanging with us, so might be good to know if you are staying there.

The Inn is located in the perfect spot, the rooms are a bit outdated, no A/C. Very nice views, I purchased the romance package as it was for our anniversary. When we arrived I was going to surprise my wife, but i was surprised myself. There was nothing there. I called in and they said they would deliver within 30 minutes. The point was to have everything there by the time we got there. I just requested to cancel it, they insisted. They did deliver even though i told them not to and they even said it would be free of charge. They did refund the majority but not a full refund. I would say, there are better places for the price in the area.

We truly loved this place. We enjoyed our stay here and for sure we are looking forward to coming back again. Loved the view every morning. We enjoyed bird watching. One thing though, would be nice if the rooms had their own fridge and AC. But regardless this is a lovely place to stay. Loved the staff too. 😊

This hotel is a surprise. Simple appearing on the outside, our room was a hidden gem on the inside. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the slough, and it was wonderful. We had a beautiful view of the bird life flying back and forth, various critters appearing and and marine life in the water. The room was clean, compact and well appointed. The bed comfortable, shower excellent and our space was quiet. The highlight is the amazing view. We could have spent all day sipping wine, reading good books and taking in the sights from our windows. Highly recommend. Robin

We love Captain’s Inn at Moss Landing. It’s immaculately clean and so peaceful. We love the riverfront rooms where we can watch lots of wildlife in the quiet mornings. We also love the convenience of having a kitchen in the property where we can go in & out and use the hotel’s plates/cups/utensils. We love our short walks to the beach or the marina.

Get the upstairs room!!

We stayed 3 nights in the suite Hide Away. There was repeated notes about quiet time and this was where people can relax. We are light sleepers and were looking forward to the peace and quit. The first night we didn’t get any sleep due to the upstairs people walking around, getting up to use the bathroom, dropping things. Housekeeping is on the other side of the bedroom wall. We almost canceled out trip, but decided to give it another try. Thank goodness no one was upstairs the rest of our stay and housekeeping wasn't working late into the night. It was quite peaceful, and exactly what we needed. The area is very unique and tranquil. We would definitely stay there again, all of the rooms are interesting and I think the boathouse rooms would be my next choice.

Still not accustomed to a property with no personnel present. But once we got past the call center and digital locks, the room and living area were cozy and quiet. Very glad we found this.

We had a great dinner just down the street at the Sea Harvest with family . It was a beautiful evening out so we shared a bottle of wine enjoying the sunset on the property out back . The whole property and Sheba the owner was very inviting and comfortable to be around , we had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again.
