The Oregon Garden Resort is a lovely looking property. Its proximity to the Oregon Garden is its best feature. Our room was blazing hot until we noticed that the pilot light in the gas fireplace was on and making the whole fire box radiate heat. We got maintenance to turn that off (after we had tried to sleep) and after that all was ok. The person in the unit next to us must not have noticed where the heat was coming from and so had their air conditioner running constantly even then the weather was cool and lovely, so when we opened our window which was next to their unit, the sound was annoying. We enjoyed the lounge for a happy hour drink. The restaurant has a very limited and fairly pricey menu so stick to the lounge if you want a bite to eat or go into SIlverton which has many restaurants and brew pubs. We did not try them but would if we went again.

The moment we walked in, we were greeted with kind and professional administration. The surroundings are beautiful and everything was organized and clean. We enjoyed ourselves, listening to The Next of Kin band!!! The complimentary breakfast and the beautiful walk around the grounds was just what we needed!

Rather than being in a large hotel the rooms are set aside in smaller units. Little cabins with 6 rooms in each. The rooms featured a gas fireplace and a really nice touch was the welcome on the TV with our name .
