When I checked in, I received a room with urine in toilet and bed not made, it took 2 hours out of my day just to check in and get another room, I will not stay here again or refer anyone to stay here. Need better management

Our check-in host was absolutely terrible, and just had an attitude that he really didn't care about anything or anybody. When we got to our room, the cockroaches greeted us both large and small, which told us clearly this building is not clean. They didn't want to change our room, They did and we still were not happy but we stayed four days and I will never ever return there again. The pool was nice. The outside staff by the pool was nice as well. That's the only good and our stay.

This property should have a disclaimer that it’s under construction. We evacuated from the hurricane and made the mistake of staying here based on previous experiences. Historically this property was in good order with smiling helpful staff. Not what we experienced this trip. We were placed on the 15th floor, the only occupants of floor 15. Reason being is that the property is under construction and all the other rooms were wide open and had workers running around. Could not even hear the TV in our room. Every time we got off the elevator we were told the floor was closed, they are always surprised to hear we are trying to stay up here. Sign says work between 9-5, although jackhammering, tile removal and furniture removal started prior to 8am. We called the front desk, were hung up on. Called back and there was never an answer. After a trip to the front desk we decided to check out. Dunes Village is far superior and was the same price. Wish we had chosen Dunes Village first, I can’t recommend The Caribbean Resort.

Nice property, conveniently located. No closet or luggage stand in the 2nd bedroom. The guest bath tub had hair in it and there was not a frying pan in the kitchen, mainly Minor items. Otherwise it was very enjoyable stay. Good amenities, food and outdoor bar.

I liked the set up of the room and the way things are done was all good and the staff was very nice but my room needed to be sprayed for bugs in there and I didn’t unpack much because I didn’t want them to get in my stuff.

The room I requested is not. What I got. Installed now night in protest and then left the next day after I was told that they were out if the rooms I requested. I went to the Marriott for the rest of the trip. I expect to be reimbursed fully for the hotel at the carriebbean.

Location, location, location! This property is truly right on the beach. Its not the newest property but it was clean and well maintained. Its a great facility for families with kids.

The check-in staff were very nice and it didn't take long. Our 3 bedroom oceanview was very spacious. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool and lazy river, along with the beach access. We will stay here again.
