I liked the room we were in, as to comfort of the bed and the sitting area for watching tv. I didn’t like that the only ac was in the bedroom and didn’t flow into the sitting room as comfortably as we would have liked. The kitchen was well supplied, and we had plenty of room to place food items/snacks. We could have used a little more light, but I don’t know how that could be managed. Also needed a second mirror somewhere in the suite. All in all, we had a great time, and enjoyed our stay at Holiday Shores!

This was a couples trip for 4 adults. I booked the 2-bedroom. The room is a regular room with a bedroom off the side meaning no privacy for the couple in the main hotel room as the bathroom occupies the same area. The bathroon door was covered in urine and did not close or lock. The bathroom itself was updated and shower was cozy. We had to call and ask for additional toilet paper as none was left in the room. Now heres the main problem....our room, room 210, was above the boiler or something and it knocked ALL nite. The little window in the bedroom shook and rattled during the stoem. Someone came and nailed it shut to keep that nojse down. We got no sleep during our stay. Now, the lights were non-existant. The bedroom had a lamp on the nightstand that barely lit up the room. The queen sized bed lay on a platform that sticks out so you constantly hit your shins while navagating in the dark. Only 1 vanity size trashcan was in the wholeroom and that filled up, fast. The pool was dirty. Definately would not stay again or recommend this hotel.

When we first got there we waited 20 minutes in the lobby for someone to get us a room. Other than that it was a nice place! It was clean and the house keeper was really nice and helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

If you are looking for an adorable retro hotel that makes you feel like you are back in the 70s this is it! Super clean and the quietest place I have ever stayed in Myrtle. Surprisingly lovely. Extremely comfortable bed. Easy one block walk to the ocean. I was amazed at what a great little place it was to stay.

We’ve stayed at the property multiple times and we have thoroughly enjoyed it each visit. This visit was fantastic and it was the first time we’ve stayed in an efficiency room and we enjoyed that very much. we will definitely be back in the future!

This place was a time warp out of the 60’s style wise. Things were clean, but I was told staff does not enter rooms to change linens and towels during a guest stay as “they are a small, rinky dink operation” it was a quiet stay. The showers do not have tubs and nothing told hold onto for balance while showering. The worst part of this stay was the beds. They were on pallet type bases, hard as a rock. Pillows way too soft. If you’re looking for a comfy bed for a few days stay, this is not it. My boyfriend and I both slept terribly each night of our stay. We couldn’t wait to get home in our own bed! While this place is an aesthetically cute and family friendly place, convenient to many things, we would not stay here again.

The Room, Pool, and Lobby Lounge were clean and had great space to move around (Coffee Machine was a great addition as well). Hotel is a 2 min walk from the beach which was very nice too. Maggie, the Property Manager was very helpful and kind. I would absolutely recommend staying here, especially planning a trip on a budget. (Rooms come with fridge and an electric stove top as well). 5/5
